EduPrint 2026
Schoemans officially launched EduPrint Namibia in February 2026, a corporate social initiative (CSI) aimed at supporting schools in need by improving access to essential printing resources.
As part of this initiative, Schoemans donated seven photocopiers to selected schools across Namibia. The donated devices will assist schools in producing worksheets, exam papers, and other important educational materials that play a crucial role in the daily learning environment.
Official Handover Ceremony
Schools registered for the EduPrint Namibia initiative through an online form, after which a committee carefully selected the recipients. The official handover ceremony was held on 05 March 2026 in Windhoek at the Schoemans Head Office, with schools in attendance receiving EduPrint certificates—a symbolic gesture as the rollout of the photocopiers is subsequently processed.

The handover was graced by the presence of Edda Bohn, Deputy Executive Director for Formal Education & Schools at the Ministry of Education, Innovation, Youth, Sports, Arts and Culture (MEIYSAC), who emphasized the importance of partnerships in strengthening education.
EduPrint Namibia Beneficiary Schools
The following schools were selected as recipients of the EduPrint Namibia photocopiers:
- Northside Primary School
- Piet Diergaardt Primary School
- Mount Etjo Private School
- Narraville Secondary School
- Walvis Bay Child & Family Centre
- Kanyikama Junior Primary School
- Uitkoms Primary School
These schools were chosen based on their need for reliable printing resources and the potential impact the equipment will have on their learning environments.
A Commitment to Education
This initiative is a long-term commitment rather than a one-time initiative and will occur annually, with a new set of beneficiary schools selected each year, ensuring that more schools across Namibia can benefit from reliable printing support.
