Windhoek, Namibia – Winter Knights is an annual initiative by Round Table Namibia aimed at supporting the less fortunate during the cold winter months. The event facilitates the collection of donations from stakeholders and the general public to provide much-needed relief to those in need.
Schoemans secured the HIDAS intersection in Klein Windhoek, from 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM. In an effort to support winter knights initiative donations were collected from the general public, focusing on warm clothing, blankets, and non-perishable food. The strategic location and timing engaged commuters and passersby, encouraging widespread generosity.
Through the collective efforts of Round Table Namibia, and all the local businesses that secured a corner to collect donations, the Winter Knights initiative 2024 has provided much-needed support to those in need, fostering a sense of unity and shared responsibility within the Windhoek community.
