Schoemans Technologies in co-operation with Cellstop Namibia is a supplier of hardware and software
in the vehicle tracking, fleet management and telemetry business utilising MTC’s GSM/GPRS and GPS
platforms. The challenge facing fleet managers today, is in redefining their organizations to face the
modern era, where adherence to new technologies such as those developed by Cellstop results in a
significant reduction of costs and more efficient management of fleets.
The unique application provided by Schoemans Technologies allows for complete computer base station and celphone management as opposed to the celphone being used exclusively as just an information dissemination site. Through this celphone management platform, the location, status and daily reports can also be extracted in real-time directly from the vehicle. This globally patented application even allows for the immobilisation of the vehicle from the administrators celphone or computer base station.

This document is a proposal for the supply, installation and monitoring of a
Schoemans Technologies Fleet Management Solution for your fleet of vehicles.ur privacy and exclusive usage.
- Real time location of vehicles by celphone or control centre. Note Celphone location is delivered real time by vehicle, not last known at control centre
- Driver ID. (Optional) A driver is given a tag, which identifies them as the driver of the vehicle. Not only is security enhanced on the vehicle as the vehicle will not start without an authorised TAG but drivers can be limited to driving certain vehicle only.
- Vehicle abuses such as overspending, excessive idling, excessive RPM, battery low, battery disconnect, zone deviations, fuel theft can be reported to you in real time via the celphone and/or to the base station at your office on an exception reporting basis.
- Using zone management by time one can restrict movement of vehicles to certain areas within certain times, i.e. the vehicle should be in the depot between 6pm and 6am, but may only be driven within a preferred area the rest of the time. Alarms are generated should these rules be deviated from

without authorisation, Schoemans Technologies will notify you on your cell phone
and contact the control centre.
- Panic Button - When activated, a message is sent to the
emergency control centre
- Remote immobilisation (Optional) - In the event of a
hijacking, theft or unauthorised use of the vehicle. The authorised user as well
as the control centre can initiate immobilisation of the vehicle via sms.
- Accident alarm and replay - If any of your vehicles are
involved in an accident, Schoemans Technologies notifies you and the control
centre of the event, its location and severity. A replay of the accident is also
available
- Daily trip summary - Receive a summary of your vehicle
movements daily on a designated celphone at a preset time, via sms, including
trips made and distance travelled
- Trip log - You will receive an email summary of all trips
with start and destination points, times as well as distance travelled
- Fleet monitoring - Both Schoemans Technologies, Cellstop
and the IFS base station will be enabled to monitor the fleet 24/7.
- Odometer – Schoemans Technologies runs its own vehicle
odometer which is synchronised with your vehicles and can be accessed via sms
- Over speeding - You can preset a desired speed limit for
your vehicles and receive notification when it is exceeded.
- Service Interval notification – Schoemans Technologies can
notify of a pending or overdue service
- User programmable locations - The system can pinpoint up to
six customer or other locations via sms
- Excessive idling - You can also set an idling limit and
receive notification if this is exceeded.
- Time-specific tracking can also be activated to monitor the
efficiency of employees when sent to fulfil certain tasks within a prescribed
time and sequence
